Experience the Arctic winter wildlife at sea in Andøy Andøy in the region of Vesterålen, 69° north, has a diversity of wildlife at sea; birds, seals and whales. We offer wildlife watching with RIB-boats in winter outside of Andøy.
What can you experience: The large white tailed eagl is a magestic bird with its broad wings hunting for fish and other prays. This eagl mates for life and nests at the same place year after year. The King Eider is also one of the birds we might see. The seals (Common seal and Grey seal) is often seen resting at reefs close to shore. Our trip can also include the opportunity to spot whales if the weather conditions aloads it, such as orcas (killer whales) and humpback whales, as they follow the herring into the fjords. But other species as well.
