We offer you a welcoming quiet atmosphere, welcomed by one of the local artists. The story of the family and the farm, and the transformation into an art gallery, will be shared by an English-speaking artist and guide. We will also tell you about how the nature in different ways give inspirations to the art.
There will also be opportunity to buy art, or high-quality souvenirs with connection to the place.

Atelier Nøss

Atelier Nøss is an artist-run gallery and studio located in Nøss, a small village on the island of Andøya in Vesterålen.

The studio is housed in the farm where the artist Gunnar Tollefsen was born (1933) and grew up. Since 2005, the converted barn has served as the venue for a summer gallery. The gallery is also open upon request the rest of the year. We exhibit a wide range of artwork, such as paintings, sculptures, photos, textiles, graphics art, literature, and souvenirs. In the summer season, you can also enjoy a good cup of our quality coffee and tea in a unique atmosphere of art, nature, and old culture.
