Join us on one of our very popular late evening or midnight trips, where we combine whale watching, bird watching, and the stunning light of the Arctic night! Depending on the conditions of the day, we may start by heading out to sea to search for whales and end the trip at Bleik Island to observe white-tailed eagles, puffins, and other seabirds. White-tailed eagles are a highlight of every trip, as many young eagles gather around Bleik to feed on puffins and other prey.

This trip has become one of our most popular experiences. With 24 hours of daylight during summer, there’s no reason not to enjoy an evening at sea, marveling at the breathtaking Arctic light while encountering the majestic whales off the coast of Andenes. On the way back, you’ll also have the opportunity to take in more of the stunning landscapes as we search for birds around Bleik Island.

DURATION:
This trip lasts approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on the location of the whales and the time needed to find them. We aim to spend as much time as possible with the whales on every trip.
SECURITY & CLOTHING:
We provide life-/floating suits, gloves, and goggles. However, since you’ll be in the Arctic, it’s important to wear warm base layers, dry and sturdy shoes, and a warm, windproof hoodie.
PROCEDURE
- Check-in: 45 minutes before departure.
- Safety briefing: Your guide will provide safety instructions.
- Boarding: Follow the guide’s instructions as you board the boats.
